What We Do

Our current focus is breast cancer screening and early diagnosis - now working in India and Tajikistan.

Believing you will never have breast cancer does not stop breast cancer from affecting you. It is estimated that one in eight women will have breast cancer. Over three million new cases are diagnosed each year. More than six hundred thousand die each year of this curable disease.

For women throughout the world, there are barriers to and inequalities in receiving healthcare. Mobilizing women to come forward, to learn about and be screened for breast cancer begins with our community staff and volunteers who do incredible outreach. They speak with women at their homes, places of work, and gathering spaces.

The staff and volunteers have been successful in setting up lectures at schools and colleges, and organizing the screening clinics.

Over the last two years, Medical Diplomats International has had four one-month long missions. In that time, MDI has lectured over 2,000 students and school staff and performed cancer education screening of 1,358 women. We empower women by starting with their healthcare.

Medical Diplomats International works on many levels...
